| 2000 | NCJW opened a second facility in the Criminal Court of Allegheny County. This room was for families involved in criminal proceedings. |
| 2002 | 2002 At the invitation of the City of Pittsburgh and the strong support of the Women's Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh, a third room was opened at the Municipal Court on First Avenue. This room cares for children whose parents are victims of domestic violence. |
| 2006 | NCJW collaborated with the state to accept children of jurors in an effort to increase the diversity of the jurors pool. |
