In order for NCJW Designer Days and our three resale stores to be successful, we need you…AND your stuff! As you know, proceeds from the social enterprises of NCJW directly fund the operation and projects of our organization. There are an endless number of venues vying for your gently used items, so we graciously ask that you keep NCJW at the top of your list if you have clothing, furniture, household items, books, or other items you no longer need in your home.
Making a tax-deductible donation to NCJW is easy, easy, easy! We provide the following options:
- Drop-off Closet Anathan House, 1620 Murray Avenue, Squirrel Hill. Open during office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Thriftique 7400 ½ Church Street, Swissvale. Donation hours: Monday–Friday 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at rear entrance. Furniture donation pickup is available.
- By Special Appointment If you have a great deal of high-end clothing, accessories, jewelry, and shoes appropriate for Designer Days or our Designer Days Boutique, an in-home assessment and pick up may be appropriate.
- Clothing Drive Hosting a clothing drive at your office, business, synagogue, or social group is another way that you can support NCJW in our good work.
For details on in-home assessments or hosting a clothing drive, please contact Lynn Tomasits, our Director of Retail Operations, at 412-421-6118. As always, thank you for your generosity!
