Each of us is an advocate for social change. NCJW members take action in varied and personal ways every day; the evidence is in our incredible capacity to create meaningful change. Our actions, whether grand or intimate, reaching across the globe or simply across the street, make a meaningful and purposeful difference.
At both national and local levels, NCJW works to advance the well-being and status of women, children, and families and to ensure and advance individual and civil rights. From lending your voice to national campaigns to chairing or participating in local advocacy efforts, there are meaningful ways to take action.
In an effort to make our voices heard by our legislators, especially on key issues regarding education, women’s rights and such, we ask that you join our Email Action Alert Network.
We will contact you when action is needed to help influence the decision making in our capital cities. By signing up for Action Alert, you will be notified of pressing issues, you will be asked to contact your elected official, and your input will help create the necessary voices that need to be heard.
A few minutes at the computer can often make the difference.
