The Center for Women offers programs to increase financial literacy, build career-related skills, connect women with mentoring and internship opportunities, and provide referrals to additional support services, all with the goal of ensuring women in the community are able to achieve and maintain economic independence and self-sufficiency.
Co-established by the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), Pittsburgh Section with the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh (JWF), the Center for Women is designed to be gender-specific and offers and directs women to a wide range of available services in the community. The Center for Women is non-sectarian and serves all women without regard to faith, socio-economic status, or background.
