For many women, lack of prior work experience, soft skills, and positive references can pose a significant barrier to economic independence. To address this issue, NCJW Pittsburgh Section provides paid internship opportunities in our stores, at the Children’s Rooms in the Courts, and on site with our community partners, so that young women about to exit the foster care system, women entering recovery from substance abuse, and women in transition who are re-entering the workforce can gain or regain the career skills needed to find long-term employment.
We are always seeking corporate partners in the community who can offer internship positions of one week or more to our clients. Please contact us if you are interested in serving as a work site!
