Clothing Distribution
NCJW Pittsburgh has a long history of providing clothing to kids and families in our community. From the Back 2 School Store and Kids Community Closets programs to our current Kids Free Clothing and Thriftique Voucher Program, we have distributed thousands of items of quality clothing to local Pittsburgh area kids. Our current clothing distribution programs are:
Kids Free Clothing
The Free Kids Clothing program at Thriftique seeks to provide children’s clothing and accessories in the spirit of mutual aid. This program helps the community by both reducing waste while providing clothing to families, childcare workers, teachers, social workers, and others who care for children. This program is made possible by the community via our funders and the generous donors of clothing and accessories for children aged newborn to 14 years old. This program is completely free and open to everyone.

Thriftique Voucher Program
For over a decade, NCJW Pittsburgh has offered direct support to the community through our clothing voucher program, originally intended to help women who were in financial transition and entering or re-entering the workforce in need of business attire.
The current iteration of the program is called Thriftique Essentials and has expanded to provide clothing, shoes and accessories, furniture, linens, small appliances, and housewares to recipients. Vouchers are valid only at Thriftique and can be used for anything we carry in the store. The program operates in partnership with area organizations and agencies providing direct services to our Pittsburgh neighbors. This year, we have partnered with 18 area non-profits to distribute the vouchers.
Vouchers are valid only at Thriftique and can be used for anything we carry in the store.
