National Council of Jewish Women Pittsburgh

Your gift will make an impact.

While NCJW continues our community services and programs remotely, we can’t do so without your help! Here are two things you can do:

  1. Make an emergency donation to NCJW Pittsburgh Section here.
  2. Purchase NCJW cards to celebrate, honor, or memorialize a loved one.  With Mother’s Day just around the corner, this is a great option instead going into a store. Cards are $5 each and please write “___# of cards” in the comment section.

You can also send a check to the NCJW, 1620 Murray Avenue,   Pittsburgh, PA 15217. Please include a note with how many you’d like and the address for delivery.

Through your gift you are:

  • ensuring children from low-resource backgrounds receive a new outfit and supplies so they are prepared, like their peers, for the first day of school.
  • providing women with the opportunity to obtain an internship that will put them on a path to financial independence.
  • giving refugees the opportunity to furnish their new life in Pittsburgh.
  • enabling children to safely play while their family deals with court matters.
  • advocating on issues such as domestic violence prevention, reproductive health and rights, civil rights, and economic justice.

All of these things happen because you support NCJW.

To donate by mail, please send a check or money order to:

NCJW Pittsburgh Section
1620 Murray Ave.
Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Please make checks/money orders payable to NCJW Pittsburgh Section. To make a restricted donation, please contact our office at 412-421-6118.

NCJW is recognized as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Contributions to NCJW are tax deductible to the full extent provided by the law.

Heritage Society - Life and Legacy

Life & Legacy

Generations of women have volunteered their time and financial resources to ensure the health and financial viability of the Pittsburgh Section. We read in the Talmud, “As my father planted for me, so I plant for my children.” It is our turn to plant for our children and future generations. As we sow, so shall we reap. The creation of the NCJW Heritage Society is a major initiative to enable NCJW, Pittsburgh Section, to carry out its mission more effectively through an endowment. The “Society” provides permanent, additional funding required to enhance NCJW’s existing programs, launch new initiatives, and be responsive to newly identified community needs.

Membership in the NCJW Heritage Society provides an opportunity to “plant” for the future. The donor may establish a permanent endowment in his or her name, as a memorial, or in recognition of another individual. Individuals may become members by designating a bequest or an estate gift, or by making a current contribution of cash, stock, or other eligible asset in an amount not less than $5,000. To join the Heritage Society, call our office at 412-421-6118 today.
