Donate now: support NCJW programs
Your donation goes directly toward NCJW programs that support women, children, and families in our community.
Through your gift you are:
- ensuring children have new essential clothing and supplies so they are prepared, like their peers, for school.
- supporting the well-being of women in life transitions and empowering them to achieve financial stability and independence.
- enabling children to stay in a nurturing, caring, and safe place while their parent/guardian deals with court matters.
- advocating on issues such as reproductive justice, access to childcare, voting rights and economic justice.
- giving age-appropriate books to and clothing children through the NCJW Children’s Rooms at the Court and Kids Community Closets.
All of these things happen because you support NCJW Pittsburgh Section.

Stock Gifts & Securities
Donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds or mutual funds you’ve held for more than one year) is typically an excellent way to reduce or avoid capital gains taxes and receive a federal income tax charitable deduction. Please contact Marissa Fogel, Executive Director, at email@example.com.
In-kind donations are welcome at NCJW Pittsburgh Section. We accept donations of new or gently-used clothing, furniture, and household goods at Thriftique, located at 125 51st St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. You can drop off your donations there or call Thriftique at (412) 742-4951 to schedule a large pick-up.
The Children’s Rooms in the Courts give away more than 4,200 books to visiting children each year. Do you have books to donate or want to organize a book drive? Please contact Marissa Fogel, Executive Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Planned Gifts – Life & Legacy
Generations of women have volunteered their time and financial resources to ensure the health and financial viability of the Pittsburgh Section. We read in the Talmud, “As my father planted for me, so I plant for my children.” It is our turn to plant for our children and future generations. As we sow, so shall we reap. You can create a legacy and enable NCJW Pittsburgh Section to carry out its mission more effectively, by making a charitable bequest. The Life & Legacy program provides permanent, additional funding required to enhance NCJW’s existing programs, launch new initiatives, and be responsive to newly identified community needs. Please contact Marissa Fogel, Executive Director, at email@example.com for more information.
