Thriftique is our popular, mission-focused social enterprise resale shop selling carefully curated, designer-centric inventory. All sales, community outreach, and partnerships support NCJW Pittsburgh’s mission to increase equity through the empowerment of women. In this 8,400 sq foot shop in the heart of Lawrenceville, Thriftique sells high-quality, new and gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories, home goods, art, books, and furniture at affordable prices. We support sustainable shopping practices and so do our shoppers.

  • Donations are accepted at our store in Lawrenceville at 119 51st Street.

    Occasional donation drives are scheduled throughout the year at Anathan House and at Bakery Square.

    We not longer accept clothing donations at Anathan House outside of scheduled donation drives.

  • We accept donations of new and gently used clothing (all ages an genders) along with accessories, household goods, furniture, and art.

    We are unable to accept the following items:

    • Stained or damaged items

    • Used socks and undergarments

    • Items covered in pet hair or permeated with odors such as smoke

    • Cribs, car seats, and other baby equipment

    • Medical Equipment

    • VCR’s, computers, printers, and other electronics

    • Used kitchen appliances

    • Any food or perishable items

    • Yard sale or garage cleanout remnants

    • Chemicals or paint

    • Stuffed animals

    • Bed pillows and mattress covers

    • Magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, or reference books

  • Thriftique does not offer free furniture pick-up service. 

    If you'd like to donate furniture to Thriftique, please send a clear picture of the item(s) to thriftique@ncjwpgh.org for review.

    The store manager will let you know whether your item(s) is something that we will accept or not. Criteria include quality, condition and salability.

    It is the donor's responsibility to bring the item(s) to the store.

    Thriftique staff are not obligated to assist in any moving or lifting of furniture or other heavy items.

    You will be given a tax donation form for your donations if desired.

  • Thriftique’s major seasonal shopping event kicks off with a ticketed, VIP preview party in the fall where guests enjoy drinks and light hors d’oeuvres while they peruse and purchase high-end, designer clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories before the sale opens to the public. Items sold during the 5-day event are the highest quality designer brands which have been collected, curated, and procured from donation batches throughout the year.
